COVID Update for Summer 2021
First and foremost, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We have received questions from parents about if and how COVID-19 will affect Camp Ma-He-Tu this summer. We know this pandemic has been stressful to many and recognize that socializing and interacting with peers can be a healthy way for children to cope with stress and connect with others, particularly after spending quite a bit of time at home.
The health and safety of our campers and staff remain our highest priority. With months of careful thought and planning still underway, we are excited to resume camp while following CDC and NYS Health Department considerations to protect campers, families, and our community.
We will be sharing a more detailed outline of what to expect as we finalize those plans. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we respond to the latest recommendations and requirements. Camp may feel a little different this year, but who knows, we might find some fun new activities or traditions we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise!
If you have a specific question about this plan or COVID-19, please contact our registrar, Marion, for more information. We look forward to seeing you.
Thank you and stay healthy,
Camp Ma-He-Tu Board of Directors
